  • Cancellation policy and deposit
    We require guests to pay a $199 deposit to secure your booking. At least 7 days notice of cancellation or change of date is required in order to avoid a cancellation fee. If less than 7 days notice is given and if we are unable to fill the dome, the following cancellation fees apply (includes change of date): • 100% deposit amount within 72 hours. • 50% deposit amount within 3-7 days. Bad weather: In case of snow storm, freezing rain, wind storm or extreme cold, if we decide to close the retreat, your booking will be postponed to the next available date.
  • Children
    We think that this dining experience may not be suitable for children below the age of 8.
  • Shoes
    We recommend you to wear adequate shoes because you will have to walk about 3 minutes throught the forest to reach your very own private dome. Please note that in the winter time, our trails can be sometimes snowy and/or icy.
  • Grace period
    We have a 15 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 15 minutes after your reservation time. We will not be able to extend your dome booking if you are running late!
  • Menu and Pricing
    2 hours dining experience Menu: • Appetizers board. • Surf'n Turf homemade broth fondue including beef, chicken, shrimps, scallops, veggies, rice, homemade sauces OR • Swiss raclette including cheese, potatoes, charcuterie (deli meats) and pickles. • Dessert of the day. Three-course menu: $34.90/person + tax (gratuity not included) Dining dome rental: $199+tax for 2 hours You will pay the balance of your meal after eating. IMPORTANT: Before booking online, please call us or send us an email to check if we can accommodate your food allergies or restrictions.
  • Experience description
    The Maplebrook Retreat Dining Dome experience includes a three-course fondue served in one of our unique, private dining domes. The domes are located on our beautiful forest and are fully equipped with a heater and air conditioner to ensure a comfortable environment whatever the weather. Our guests can play a preferred music selection using their phones to connect to our Bluetooth speakers. Enjoy the fauna and flora, and when the sun goes down, enjoy the mood lighting under a canopy of stars! Each dome can accommodate a maximum of six guests and a minimum of two.
  • Parking
    To keep our natural setting we have kept vehicles away from the bubble accommodations and public spaces. This helps keep both noise and light pollution from disrupting our ambiance. Maplebrook Retreat does have small wagons to asset our guests to their bubbles.
  • Children friendly
    We encourage parents to foster the wonder of nature within their kids. We have a selection of 4 colored bubbles for families (#5, #6, #7 and #8).
  • Check-in and check-out time
    The check-in time is between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and the check-out time is before 11:00 a.m.
  • Visitors
    We will allow a reasonable number of visitors to join our guests at the Lodge, we just request these guests check-in at the front and do not exceed two individuals per staying host.
  • 1-night stay
    The weekend stays are always 2-nights stay minimum (check in on Friday and check out on Sunday). May/June/September/October: We allow 1-night stays on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. July/August: The stays in July and August are always 2-nights stay minimum. The check ins are allowed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights only.
  • Outdoor Spa
    The retreat has an outdoor Spa with a hot tub and a sauna for our guests to enjoy. There is no extra charge for using it, however it is required that individuals/groups reserve their hot tub time. You may book the Spa in 1 hour intervals with the option to book longer or multiple time slots if available. The Spa is open from 9am to midnight each day.
  • Temperature inside the bubble
    The temperature inside the bubble varies according to the outside temperature (like a tent). For colder nights, the bubble is equipped with a heater, a heated mattress and heated blankets. In summer, the bubble is equipped with a fan (no AC).
  • Privatization of the entire site
    You can privatize the 8 bubbles including the restaurant room for your family reunion or corporate events (we do not accept weddings or parties at the moment). We can accommodate up to 28 people. We have 8 queen beds, 4 sofa-beds and 4 extra beds.
  • Bathroom facilities
    All the bathrooms are located in the Lodge, less than 1 minute walk from the bubbles. They are fully equipped with shower, sink and toilet. All our bubbles have their own private bathrooms.
  • Pricing
    We have two types of bubbles. Our standard bubbles, for 2 people maximum, that start at $189/night + tax and our deluxe bubbles, for 5 people maximum, that start at $229/night + tax.
  • Pets
    We love pets but due to our farm environment, pets are not allowed onsite.
  • Equipments inside the bubble
    Bedding (sheets, blankets, pillows) are all provided as are towels and bathrobes. Note: our towels are not to be used as a beach towel, please provide your own. Inside your bubble, you will find a bedroom with a queen bed for the standard bubbles, and a queen bed with a living room area (with a sofa bed) for the deluxe bubbles. The bubbles have electricity, a heated mattress, electric blankets and a portable heater. Outside your bubble, you will find a private deck with adirondack chairs, a picnic table and a propane BBQ. The bubbles does not have a refrigerator but you can bring a portable cooler.
  • WIFI
    The WiFi is accessible at The Lodge only. You will be provided the password upon check-in. There is no television or telephones in our bubbles.
  • Cancellation policy
    Refund of deposit minus $50 cancellation fee. Deposit is non-refundable if cancelled within 14 days prior your stay. When cancelled within 7 days prior your stay or in case of a ‘no show’, the total booking price will be charged to your credit card. Date changes can be made up to 30 days prior to your stay. Bad weather: In case of wind storm or any other extreme weather condition, if we decide to close the retreat for the safety of our guests, you will be able to postpone your stay or get a gift certificate for the deposit you already paid.
  • Opening season
    The bubbles are open from May to October only, but our restaurant remains open all year round.
